Cautions and Interactions NAC can interact with a variety of medications, which include ACE inhibitors.ย Furthermore, while NAC can interact with isosorbide and nitroglycerin (two medicines that are commonly used to relieve chest pain) The combination can raise the chance of adverse negative effects, like severe headaches, and can cause high blood pressure.ย NAC can also interact with activated charcoal.
